Poudre Learning Center Foundation Property
Known as the “Hall 133”

Future Plans

In December 2017, George and Betty Hall generously donated the 133 acres currently known as the “Hall 133” to the Poudre Learning Center Foundation for educational purposes.

In 2018, a charrette was convened among stakeholders to discuss ideas and plans for the recently donated land. The following map was created, illustrating a range of concepts including space allocated for an astronomical observatory.

Property plans are still evolving. Please check back for updates.

Please note, Item 23 on the map described as the Highway “O” Street” extension should be eliminated. In 2020, the Weld County Board of Commissioners declared the adjacent historic farm, Von Trotha-Firestien Farm at Bracewell, an Agricultural Heritage Site, due to its listing on the National Register of Historic Places. This designation protects the farm from future development which prevents the road from being extended through the Farm and PLC Foundation property.

The Poudre Learning Center Foundation remains dedicated to expanding and refining the use of the Hall 133, ensuring it remains a dynamic and valuable asset for the community; inspiring generations to come.
